Our Webinar Series

Scince Cafe: Mindfulness

As always, we are partnering with the UC Davis Center for Reducing Health Disparities, and we will be hosting a virtual discussion for teens ages 13-18. In this webinar we will be sharing mindfulness tips in effort to reduce the stigma around taking care of our own wellness.

In the age of COVID-19, many students in Sacramento are faced with a completely new educational reality. Distance learning, and all of its complications, have added to typical school-related anxiety. This places an additional burden on students of all ages. That's why promoting and protecting youth mental health has never been so important.

Our mission at Sacramento Youth Mental Health revolves around peer-to-peer support. As high school students ourselves, we understand the present and upcoming consequences of this pandemic for teenagers in our communities. That's why we developed the Mindset Sacramento Webinar Series, an opportunity to educate and facilitate discussion among youth during this challenging time.
